Preparing To Take Flight: The OTAM 90 GTS
Yet to be launched for the Otam shipyard, get a first look at the shimmering sports cruiser set to deliver 40 knots-plus.
The New Flagship: Otam’s High-Performance Fast & Iconic Range
The first unit of the OTAM 90 GTS, a sleek sports cruiser that is both a weekender and chase boat, is undergoing construction in Otam’s shipyard in Genoa. The vessel is preparing for its launch in May and is on schedule for its delivery amid the heat of the Mediterranean yachting season.

The racy sports yacht is a collaboration between Otam shipyard and Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG DesignFirm. The result is a sleek sports yacht brimming with custom design details, such as the racy helm console inspired by F1 Racing cars.

The accommodation comprises a full-beam master suite, a VIP cabin and a guest cabin. Below the deck are a lounge, daybed and office space setup for remote working, combining all of the comforts of a superyacht in a yacht under 24 meters.
The main deck features a vast cockpit with a retractable hard top, a large sunbathing area aft, filled with comfortable sun beds and an enormous bathing platform illuminated with blue LED strips and spotlights.
Center-forward of the bow is a raised sunbathing platform fitted with lounge pads. Behind it is a large table for al fresco dining enveloped by a U-shaped curving sofa, which provides an informal setting, making it an ideal spot for enjoying sundowners.
Options include an opening hard or soft top, full or half-height side windows, with or without a side passage door, and a single or double hull window to the main suite amidships.
The Arama hull, a multi-layer composite fabric combining glass fiber and Kevlar, provides optimal stiffness, making it robust in rough seas. Ultralight carbon fiber components, including a hardtop, garage hatch, and other deck parts, have been fitted throughout.
Recent developments in the yard include coating the hull in silver metallic paint with bronze accents, developed by Awlgrip for the owner, who is adding this fast yet spacious luxury yacht to accommodate a large number of guests to his existing fleet of vessels.

We firmly believe that this bespoke approach is the highest expression of luxury.”
The powerful twin MTU engines with 2,600 hp have been installed and rigorously tested and are projected to power the yacht at a heart-racing 40-plus knots.

Otam sport cruisers as chase boats as a large day boat to support larger vessels. The prospective flagship yacht will debut internationally at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 in September, coinciding with the shipyard’s 70th anniversary.
